Flying to AirVenture 2008 was the accomplishment of a long time dream...Build and fly my own airplane to the largest gathering of homebuilt aircraft in the world! I convinced my good friend Gary Nablo to fly his L4 Grasshopper replica with me and my Voisin. It was one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Right up there with getting married, watching my children come into the world, getting my, watching the Apollo 17 launch at night in person, and getting my pilots certificate. I have tried to put the pictures below into chronological order as best I can, but they are not perfect. I have simply tried to capture the essence of the trip. You just had to be there!
